presence in this country of Sir R. E.

Stubbs/to review, in consultation with

epresentatives of the Admiralty, Foreign

Office War Office and Board of Trade,

the whole question of Piracy in waters

Fadjacent to the Colony, including the

request conveyed to me im Sir R. E.

Stubby despatch No. 162 of the 17th of

April Thak the Admiralty should be

invited to supply and man additional armed

patrol launches in accordance with the

recommendations of the Senior Naval Officer,

West River and the Commodore, Hong Kong.
